Adult male found floating in river near East Riverside Dr.

AUSTIN, Texas - Austin police said a body was recovered from Lady Bird Lake around 9:50 Monday morning, just east of I-35 near the south side of the lake. 

Police said they cannot confirm the age, race or gender of the body or whether it is related to any missing person cases in Austin.

The Gutierrez family has been searching endlessly for 25-year-old Martin Gutierrez, who hasn't been seen since leaving a bar on Rainey Street one week ago. 

Fliers asking for clues about what happened to him are still scattered on telephone poles all the way from Rainey to Festival Beach, almost one mile away. 

The Gutierrez family is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to him. 

Police are asking anyone with information about the body in the water to call the homicide tip line at 512- 477-3588.
