APD on lookout for failure to stop and render aid crash suspect

The Austin Police Department is asking the public for help in finding anyone who may have information about a suspect who is wanted in relation to a failure to stop and render aid crash. The crash happened on March 3 in the 2200 block of Wheless Lane.
Police a man had just picked up his child and a friend's child up from school and was towing them behind his bicycle in a trailer. He was traveling southbound on North Hampton Drive and crossing the intersection of Wheless Lane when a black Jeep traveling northbound on Hampton and turning westbound on Wheless struck the trailer. Both children were pinned under the Jeep.
The driver of the Jeep left the scene on foot. He is described as wearing a white tank top and black shorts with white lettering. Police say the driver may have the alias of "May May" or "Mae Mae".
The children were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
