APD searching for suspects accused of stealing 86k of jewelry
The Austin Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in apprehending two robbery suspects. The suspects are accused of stealing 86 thousand dollars worth of jewelry.
According to APD, officers of the Austin Police Department responded to Spence Diamonds (11400 block of Century Oaks Terrace) for a robbery alarm on Friday, December 16, 2016. Upon arrival it was found that a black male and a black female had come into the store and asked to try on a two ring set. Once the clerk put the rings on the females finger the male and the female both ran out the door exiting the building.
The male was described as:
- Mid 30’s
- 6 ft 02 in
- Heavy set
- Clean shaven
- Buzz cut hair
The female was described as
- 5 ft 02 in
- Petite build
- Mid 30’s
- Dark brown hair with blond highlights
- Tattoo on left forearm
The Austin Police Department is requesting assistance in locating these suspects.
