APD: Suspect wanted in connection to multiple thefts

AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Police Departement's Region 1 detectives are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect connected to multiple thefts.
Police say the suspect has been entering clinics and businesses saying that he is with the electric company and that he is there to check light bulbs or equipment. The suspect will then go through offices and steal cash or other times from employees' desks.

- 40-50 years old
Police are asking the community to ensure identification is checked before allowing anyone access to a private business.
