ATCEMS: Pedestrian vs. train leaves one in serious condition

AUSTIN, Texas - ATCEMS and Austin Police were on the scene of a pedestrian vs. train accident in North Austin. 

According to ATCEMS, the adult individual was struck by a train at Airport Blvd and East 51st Street at approximately 1:47 p.m. on Thursday. 

Medics have declared a Trauma Alert on the victim and the individual has been transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries. 

EMS has cleared the scene and no other information is available at this time.
