Austin Energy: Power restored to all but one customer in downtown Austin

Austin Energy says that power has now been restored to all but one customer in the downtown area.

Austin Energy posted the update to Twitter, saying that even though the power is back on, crews will continue working through the night to make all the necessary repairs.

Austin Energy said at 11:08 a.m. that they were experiencing a network issue affecting several blocks in the downtown area and that initial reports indicated a non-Austin Energy crew damaged a line.

The general perimeter of the outage is 11th Street to MLK Jr. Boulevard and Rio Grande Street to Red River Street.

This is a developing story, check back for updates.
