Austin police investigating South Austin bank robbery

AUSTIN, Texas - Austin police are investigating a South Austin bank robbery.

The robbery happened at the Wells Fargo at 500 E. Ben White Boulevard. Police responded to the call at around 12:40 p.m.

The suspect entered the bank, displayed a note to the teller and left the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen running east down Ben White Blvd. No injuries were reported.
