Authorities investigating after decomposing body found in Pflugerville

PFLUGERVILLE, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Authorities are investigating after a decomposing body was found in Pflugerville.

The body was found near Chalice Well Drive and Misty Shore Lane in a wooded area near a park.

The Travis County Sheriff's Office says that a call came in about a welfare check last night and that once deputies arrived on a scene they found a body in the late stages of decomposition.

Officials say it's still too early in the investigation to determine if it was a suspicious death.
