BASTROP, Texas— The Bastrop County firefighters have contained a fire near State Highway 95.
Officials say a trash burn caused the fire near 2300 SH 95, between Elgin and Bastrop. The Travis County STAR Flight assisted in containing the fire.
Officials issued citations to those who violated a countywide burn ban—a ban in effect until November.
No injuries have been reported.
