Big Stacy Pool to close for emergency maintenance

AUSTIN, Texas - A neighborhood pool in Austin will be closed for the weekend due to emergency maintenance.

Big Stacy Pool on E. Live Oak Street will be closed Friday, Jan. 3 for a required emergency maintenance project and, according to the Austin Parks and Recreation Department, is projected to reopen Monday, Jan. 6. 

Extended hours will be in effect on weekdays at Bartholomew and Deep Eddy pools through Jan. 6.

Bartholomew Pool on East 51st Street will be open from 12:15 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Deep Eddy Pool on Deep Eddy Avenue will be open from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and Sunday.

Normal operating hours will resume Tuesday, Jan. 7.
