Black bear uses Georgia man's birdfeeder as food bowl

ACWORTH, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A Georgia hunter got a big surprise looking out his window overnight.

Cobb County resident Glenn Chappelear woke up to the sounds of his dog barking around 2:30 in the morning, but he just thought it was trying to scare his neighbor's cat.

Chappelear told FOX 5 when he got up his wife asked if it was a bear ... and it turned out it was.

The black bear was chowing down on the couple's bird feeder right in their yard.

Chappelear said the bear didn't bother them or their cats, who were outside, but spent about six minutes eating all the birdseed.
