Austin-Travis County EMS says 911 callers reported someone floating unconscious in the water just before midnight on Monday.

AUSTIN, Texas - A body was recovered overnight from Lake Austin in West Austin.

Austin-Travis County EMS says 911 callers reported someone floating unconscious in the water just before midnight on Monday (2/19) near the intersection of Low Water Crossing Rd and Fritz Hughes Park Rd. The area is near Mansfield Dam.

Rescuers were able to find the person, and pronounced the adult dead on the scene.
