Child hit by car in Walmart parking lot
The Austin Police Department is investigating an auto-pedestrian accident involving a child. The child was struck by a vehicle in a Walmart parking on Thursday night.
According to Austin-Travis County EMS, the male child was hit at the Walmart located at 12900 block of North I-35 on the southbound service road. The child suffered critical life-threatening injuries and was administered CPR.
ATCEMS has taking the child to Dell's Childrens Medical Center.
According to the Austin Police Department, the driver who struck the child remained on scene.
