Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren visits Austin

Senator and now Democratic presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren stopped by Austin to host a town hall ahead of the next debate in Houston.

While at Vic Mathias Shores, Warren spoke about raising the minimum wage, fighting government corruption, climate change, rebuilding the middle class and healthcare.

Her trip to Austin comes with some momentum. After polling behind former vice president Joe Biden and Senator Bernie Sanders, a recent Emerson poll puts Warren ahead of Sanders.

The momentum doesn't stop there as a recent Univision poll shows Warren with a narrow lead over Trump in Texas.

Warren is set to appear in the next Democratic debate set for Thursday in Houston.
