DPS increase reward to $8,000 for information on wanted sex offender
WACO, Texas - The Texas Department of Publish Safety (DPS) increased a cash reward up to $8,000 for any information leading up to the arrest of 51-year-old Monroe Hernandez.
Police said Hernandez is wanted for violating a parole violation and failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
According to DPS Hernandez has been wanted since Sept. 2014, and has ties to the Waco area.
Hernandez's criminal history includes a 1993 conviction for sexual assault in McLennan County said police.
Police describe Hernandez as being 5’5, weighing around 180 pounds. He has tattoos on his chest, left hand and both legs.
Police said he may be going by an alias name.
