Driver injured in CapMetro bus crash

AUSTIN, Texas - A Capital Metro bus driver has been injured after a bus crashed into a pole.

According to Austin-Travis County EMS, the crash happened at 5 pm Tuesday at East Riverside Drive and Lakeshore Blvd.

The driver was taken to UMC Brackenridge Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

We're told only one person was on board the bus when it crashed.
