Endangered Ocelot apparently struck by vehicle

A caller notified Texas Game Wardens regarding this large male Ocelot that was apparently struck by a vehicle last night in the Rio Grande Valley on HWY 2925 near Arroyo City. Please drive safely and be aware of ocelots in the area, especially at night. Thank you.

According to Big Cat Rescue a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, The International Species Information Service lists 217 ocelot’s worldwide, with 108 being in the U.S.
