Ethan Couch and mother captured in Mexico

Authorities in Mexico said they've captured "Affluenza" teen Ethan Couch and his mother Tonya.

The pair have been missing out of North Texas since earlier this month after Ethan skipped out on a meeting with his probation officer.

Our sister station in Dallas is confirming they were captured in Puerto Vallarta.

Couch first made headlines in 2013 for being sentenced to probation after driving drunk and killing four people.
His lawyer argued his spoiled upbringing made it so he had less of a sense of right and wrong.

Couch was originally supposed to serve ten years probation but now that he and his mother allegedly fled the country, it's likely couch will face a more severe punishment. His mother could also face charges.

This is a developing story and we'll bring you more details as it becomes available.
