Thousands of fabric dressers sold on Amazon recalled for being unstable

A recall was issued for 12,800 dressers because the products are unstable and pose a tip-over and entrapment risk if they're not anchored to the wall.
If the 15-drawer dresser tips over, it can also cause severe injuries or death to children, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

To date, no injuries have been reported connected to the dresser, which violates safety standards under the STURDY Act.

The new recall covers EnHomee 15-Drawer 51" Dressers which are sold in the following colors: white, brown, and black. The dressers have 15 fabric drawers, and the frames are made of metal and weigh nearly 45 pounds.
The dressers were sold on Amazon between August 2024 and April 2026 for $140. Consumer Product Safety Commission officials explain in a recall notice that only orders placed on or before April 10, 2026, are part of this recall.

Owners of the dressers are urged to stop using them immediately if they are not anchored to the wall and place them in an area where children cannot locate them.
Consumers should call EnHomee-Direct for instructions on how to identify impacted units and throw them away to receive a full refund. Consumers will be asked to submit a picture to enhomeestore@gmail.com demonstrating disposal of the product.
