Family and friends memorialize Jonathan Deleon with vigil in East Austin
Family and friends of 29-year-old Jonathan Deleon held on to one another and prayed around a makeshift memorial Sunday evening. They prayed Deleon would find peace and police will find the person responsible.
Last week, outside of Bucket's Sports Bar Deleon was struck by a hit-and-run driver.

Deleon leaves behind three children, his wife Crystal Correa-Deleon said they had fond memories of their father. "He was always making us laugh making memories with the children always a new adventure with him," Correa-Deleon said.
Deleon was born and raised in Austin, he was part of a car club and was notoriously known for his dimples. “He was always smiling and his smile lit up a room it was very contagious."

Deleon’s sister Ariel Hernandez said her family will not give up searching for the driver who took her brother’s life. “His spirit is here his spirit will always be with us and we are here, lighting you up, making you happy, may you rest in peace,” said Hernandez.
