Firefighter hurt in South Austin fire
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Crews were out early fighting a commercial property fire in South Austin.
The fire was first reported just before 3 a.m. in the 4400 block of Lucksinger which is near the intersection of East St. Elmo and South Congress.
Crews were able to knock the fire out within 20 minutes. No one was hurt.
One firefighter was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries after receiving an electrical shock. The firefighter is expected to be okay.
A portion of the area near the fire lost power because Austin Energy had to disconnect power to the structure that was on fire.
Officials are investigating the cause.
