TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas - Battleground Texas Executive Director Jenn Brown issued the following statement:

"We're thrilled to celebrate such a joyous occasion, and to see Sarah Goodfriend -- who's been an important Democratic activist and was one of the very first Battleground Texas volunteers -- making history alongside her partner Suzanne Bryant. Hopefully one day soon we will be celebrating not just this marriage, but the right of couples across Texas to marry the one they love."
