AUSTIN,Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - As the government shutdown drags out, the president is hoping his speech Tuesday night will clear things up and lead to a deal between Democratic and Republican members of congress.
What he needs to say to make his case more credible?
The government shutdown, now is the second longest in U.S. history.
Democrats say President Trump is holding the government "hostage."
Tuesday night the president will address the country on his proposal for a border wall.
