Gaming marathon for charity

In a third annual benefit, Rooster Teeth is helping raise money for Children's Miracle Network with a 24 hour gaming marathon.

The production company is based in Austin and creates online animation series and podcasts. As gamers put in hours behind the screen the company's talent is streaming a series for viewers to donate money.

Over the next day employees will rotate on a schedule as they put their interests and talents to work raising as much money as possible.

The goal is to raise $500,000 this year. As of 8:30 p.m. on 11/12 more than $390,000 has been raised.

The company has raised more than $1.5 million for Extra Life over the past three years.
