H-E-B issues recall for hamburger, hot dog buns
Texas supermarket H-E-B has issued a voluntary recall for its brand of hamburger and hot dog buns, as well as the Hill Country Fare brand of hot dog buns.
Officials announced the recall Friday. because of the possible presence of foreign materials. They say a terry cloth glove used for handling hot pans could have broken up in the dough, resulting in a potential choking hazard.
No incidents have been reported. Officials say the buns on the shelf as of Friday are not included in the recall.
