CLAY TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Resident in Michigan watched as a helicopter flipped and crashed outside a restaurant in southeastern Michigan over the weekend.
Valerie DiBattista captured the incident, showing the moment of the crash seen from a backyard in Clay Township.
What they're saying:
"I recorded the helicopter flying close to the water and it looked like he was coming in for a landing," DiBattista told Storyful. "The pilot slowly lowered his helicopter to the ground and the legs touched the ground, but all of a sudden the tail end of the helicopter flew up, causing the blades of the helicopter to touch the ground."
