Local Austin sports journalist and radio host dies

A local Austin, Texas sports journalist and radio host has suddenly passed away. 

According to AM 1300 The Zone, Sean T. Adams suffered an apparent heart attack and died. 

He was 46-years-old. 



Sean Adams was a co-host of The Bottom Line on Austin's AM 1300 The Zone. Adams was also a frequent guest of Good Day Austin on FOX 7 Austin. Adams was regularly featured on national networks as well including ESPN, LHN, FOX Sports, CBS and the NFL Network.



According to his website, Adams covered sports for nearly 15 years as a radio host, television analyst and author. His first book, Sports for Life: Daily Sports Themes for Life Success, was published in 2006. His second book, It’s Okay to be Crazy, was published in January of 2010.



Sean Adams is survived by his wife, Karen, and two children - his son Damon and his daughter Alex.
