Man believed to have drowned in Lake Buchanan

Authorities believe a man has drowned in Lake Buchanan. Texas Parks and Wildlife says the man jumped into the lake to save a child around 3:30 p.m. on September 24 and never resurfaced.

The child is reportedly fine.

Crews searched the area on Sunday morning.

The mission is now considered a recovery effort.
