Man critically injured in scooter accident in downtown Austin

AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - One person was critically injured in a scooter accident in downtown Austin on Saturday. 

According to Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services, first responders were called to the 1400 block of West Cesar Chavez Street Saturday evening. When they arrived on scene they found a male victim who had critical life-threatening injuries in an electric scooter-related accident. 

He was transported by ATCEMS to Dell Seton Medical Center.
