Missing 12-year-old girl located

UPDATE: Missing 12 year old Kayla Marie Scott located. 

 

 

The Austin Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 12-year-old Kayla Marie Scott.

She was last seen at Mendez Middle School on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 3:30 p.m.  She did not return home that evening and was reported as missing.

APD detectives are concerned about Scott’s well-being and ensuring her safe return.

Description:

  • Black female
  • 180 pounds
  • 5’4”
  • Hair is styled in three ponytails

Scott was last seen wearing a grey shirt and orange shorts and may be carrying a purple backpack.  

Anyone with information about Kayla Marie Scott is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
