Missing Buda man found dead in Travis County

*UPDATE 1/17 9:30 PM* Officials say David Dvorchak has been found dead in Travis County. The City of Buda tweeted out the news at around 9 p.m. The Travis County Sheriff's Office is investigating. No further information was released.


The Buda Police Department is searching for 69-year-old David P. Dvorchak who was last seen on January 15th. A Silver Alert has been issued by the Texas Silver Alert Network.

Officials say Dvorchak's disappearance poses a credible threat to his own health and safety.

Dvorchak, who has been diagnosed with multiple conditions, is described as follows:

  • White male
  • About 6'2"
  • Approximately 270 lbs
  • Brown hair
  • Hazel eyes
  • Large upper torso and small legs
  • Last seen wearing a blue jacket, dark colored t-shirt, blue jeans, a black medical boot on his right foot, eyeglasses and a medical alert necklace.

Dvorchak was last seen in Buda driving a white, 2013, Chevrolet Equinox LT with a Handicap TX License Plate number 4KSMR.
