Northbound 130 shut down in Pflugerville following fatal crash
PFLUGERVILLE, Texas - Northbound State Highway 130 has been shut down until further notice following a fatal car accident.
The crash happened at the intersection of Pecan Street and SH-130 in Pflugerville.
According to police, a vehicle was traveling westbound on Pecan Street, over SH-130, around 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 10 when it struck the protective barrier on the bridge. driver was ejected from the vehicle and fell down onto the northbound lanes of the state highway.
First responders with the Pflugerville Police Department responded and pronounce the driver dead at the scene.
Northbound SH-130 is being shut down until further notice, according to police.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and to use alternate routes if possible.
