Notable Texas musicians perform benefit concert for woman battling rare disease

TOMBALL, Texas (FOX 26) — Veteran Texas musicians Rodney Crowell and Lyle Lovett performed before a sold out crowd at Main Street Crossing in the Tomball area and gave all of the proceeds to 29-year-old Angela Crater.

The rare brain disease that Crater is battling hits close to home for Crowell. His ex-wife, country singer Roseanne Cash, also has the disease. 

Lovett will be performing at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in March as the opening act for George Strait.
