Pflugerville woman left with bullet holes riddled through apartment after standoff

PFLUGERVILLE, Texas - Police say a gunman fired 50 plus shots at the Highland apartment complex in Pflugerville Wednesday night. The ordeal led to a brief standoff with police. 
 
Julie Glidewell, her nephew, and his girlfriend live across from the alleged shooter. Glidewell says she has around 18 gunshot holes in going through her apartment. She says she hid for hours in the bathroom and then closet. However, she is glad everyone was ok. 

“I was just thinking, we are about to die. This man is going to come in here and kill us. We are just going to die in the closet,” said Glidewell.

She is currently looking for a new place to live. The suspect remains in police custody. His name has not yet been released. His reason for firing is still unknown.
