Police investigating deadly East Austin hit & run

Austin police are investigating a deadly hit and run in East Austin.

Police say they are looking for the driver of a light colored SUV who hit a man near the intersection of Elkhart Street and East Cesar Chavez in the early morning hours and left the scene.

Police say the man who was hit died from his injuries.
