Police investigating shooting in Austin's Entertainment District
AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Police Department is investigating a shooting in the Entertainment District that left one person in serious condition at the hospital. Police say the suspect is in custody.
The shooting happened in the 500 block of Neches Street at just after 1 a.m.
The circumstances of the shooting have not bee released and police continue to investigate.
President of the Austin Police Association Ken Casady feels that there is a bigger issue at hand.
