CHIEFLAND, Fla. - A Tampa woman is searching for her lost one-year-old pup who ran off after a car accident while she was in Chiefland.
Patricia Kamadia says "Lola," a Goldendoodle that will be two-years-old in March, got scared after being in the car accident. The dog was on a leash, but she slipped out of it, ran into the road and got hit by a car.
Kamadia says after being hit, Lola got up and took off running. Her daughter and a bystander chased her but couldn't find her, and they continued to drive around and walk through the woods calling her name, to no avail.
The police in Chiefland shared a photo of Lola asking people to be on the lookout for her.
She is sweet and playful says her owner, and is microchipped.
She was last seen Sunday afternoon around 2:25 p.m.
Anyone with information on Lola's whereabouts should call Chiefland police at 352-493-6777.
