RTX Austin rescheduled from July and will now take place Labor Day weekend

Organizers of RTX Austin say that due to COVID-19 concerns the annual event that was originally scheduled for July 3-5 will now take place Labor Day weekend, September 5-7.

Badge holders will be eligible for full refunds. Details will be sent out soon and organizers say information about purchasing new badges will be included as well.

Organizers say that they will be enhancing safety for attendees, something that was outlined earlier when organizers had hoped to still hold the event in July.

Rooster Teeth started RTX Austin in 2011 and it has grown from 600 attendees to more than 65,000 attendees in 2019.
