Save Austin Now, community leaders make public safety announcement

AUSTIN, Texas - Save Austin Now and Save Austin Now PAC co-founders Matt Mackowiak and Cleo Petricek are holding a news conference with community leaders to make an announcement regarding public safety.

Those expected to join Mackowiak and Petricek include Austin Police Association President Ken Casaday, Combined Law Enforcement Association of Texas public affairs coordinator Jennifer Szimanski, Texas Police Association executive director Erwin Ballarta, and Austin Retired Police Officers Association trustee Dennis Faris.

The news conference is scheduled to begin at 1:30 PM and will be streamed online and on the FOX 7 Austin YouTube channel.
