Search for 11 still missing in Hays County continues

Three people are confirmed dead from the flooding in Wimberley and the search continues for the 11 people still missing in Hays County.

A command center has been set up at Wimberley High School. 250 people are going door to door asking property owners to check their debris.

Texas Task Force 1 and Texas Military Services are conducting the official search.

President Obama spoke with Governor Greg Abbott about the devastation not just in Hays County but across Texas.

The president said, "I assured Governor Abbott that he could count on the help of the federal government. We have FEMA personnel already on ground..."

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and the communities that have been affected by some of these devastating, record-breaking floods," the president adds.
