Search for aggravated robbery suspect in San Marcos
The San Marcos Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating an aggravated robbery suspect. The suspect robbed a Metro PCS store in February 2018.
According to police, the robbery happened at the Metro PCS store in the 1500 block of Aquarena Springs Drive shortly before 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, 2018. The suspect entered the store disguised in a mask and a dreadlocks wig. The suspect also brandished a black handgun during the robbery.
He was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money.
Prior to the robbery, the suspect was seen at a business across the street from Metro PCS and photographed by surveillance cameras. Surveillance images were also taken of his vehicle - a four-door Hyundai Sonata with black custom wheels.

Police believe the suspect is likely responsible for additional armed robberies in the area.
