Search for suspect after shooting in East Austin

The Austin Police Department is searching for a suspect involved in a shooting. 

According to police, the shooting happened in the 7100 block of the southbound service road of Ed Bluestein Boulevard - in the area of the Springdale Shopping Center around 9 :30 p.m. When first responders arrived on scene, they found an adult male with critical life-threatening injuries. 

It is unclear at this time what events led to the shooting.
