Search for suspect who vandalized an elementary school

The Hays County Sheriff's Office  suspect who forcibly entered an elementary school and caused extensive damage to the interior of the school.

According to HCSO, the suspect broke onto the elementary school campus in the early morning of Friday, August 10 at the Carpenter Hill Elementary School in the 4400 block of FM 967 in Buda. 

The suspect was believed to be operating a dark colored passenger car.

School officials said the man broke into several commons areas destroying computers and copiers but didn’t take anything. “It is frustrating and disappointing to have this happen,” said HCISD Superintendent Dr. Eric Wright. “Our teachers and campus employees are busy getting the school ready for classes to start at the end of the month. It is a time of excitement for a new school year. Having someone break in to the school and vandalize it just simply makes me angry.”
