St. David's Women's Center of Texas caring for record number of twins

12 sets of twins are being cared for at St. David's Women's Center of Texas which is a record number for the facility.

Statistics show that the rate of conceiving twins is actually declining across the country but that doesn't appear to be the case here in the Austin area.

One of those sets of twins were welcomed in to the Moses family. Paisley and Piper were born about six days ago. The girls were born a minute apart and were named by their 12-year-old big sister Jaylin.

The Moses family lost a baby a year and a half ago and say that the twins are "a gift from God."

St. David's says it's had to expand their NICU to accommodate all of the twins it's caring for at the facility. Officials say the facility currently has the largest volume of births in Austin with more than 7,400 projected births this year.
