Taco Cabana to shutter five North Texas locations
Several North Texas locations of the Tex-Mex fast food chain Taco Cabana will be shuttered, its owners announced on Thursday.
The Dallas-based Fiesta Restaurant Group said the closures of five locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and four more across Texas was part of its “Strategic Renewal Plan.”
According to the company, the local closures are:
Carrollton, 3232 E. Hebron Parkway
Fort Worth, 2301 N. Tarrant Parkway
Fort Worth, 5745 S. Hulen St.
Rockwall, 568 Interstate 30
Weatherford, 245 E. Interstate 20
The company said most of the affected employees will be offered similar jobs at other Taco Cabana locations nearby.
