Terrell pastor faces multiple child sex assault charges

A Terrell pastor charged with child sex assault was out on bond Wednesday.

Darrell Maurice Yancey, 59, faces four counts of sexual assault of a child and three counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Yancey is the founder and pastor of the Church of Turning Point in Terrell. Yancey has also been involved with other Dallas-Fort Worth area churches over the past decades.

Yancey is currently free on bonds totaling more than $85,000.
