Texas heroes headed to the State of the Union

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz and Representative Henry Cuellar are taking two Texas heroes as guests to the State of the Union address on Tuesday.

Stephen and Pam Willeford who helped stop the mass shooting at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs are heading to Washington, D.C.

Stephen Willeford shot the gunman who killed 26 people at the church and then chased him down until police arrived.

The mass shooting is the deadliest in Texas history.  Senator Cruz says the couple brought hope and healing to the lone star state and he's honored to have them as his guests.
