*Update* Amber Alert canceled, 12-year-old boy found

*Update* The Amber Alert for 12-year-old Dereck Felder has been canceled. Authorities say he has been found safe.

This is an update to a previous story. The original version is as follows:

An Amber Alert has been issued for 12-year-old Dereck Felder who was last seen in Conroe in Montgomery County. Authorities believe Felder is with 40-year-old Cornelius Alix in a 2013 silver Dodge Charger.

Felder is described as follows:

4’8” tall

About 98 pounds

Brown eyes

Black hair in a Mohawk style

The suspect, Alix, is described as follows:

5’9” tall

About 200 pounds

Brown eyes

Brown hair

Authorities say Alix is known to dress in women’s clothing

There is no further description on the vehicle beyond that it is a 2013 silver Dodge Charger. It is believed to have Texas plates but the license plate number is not known.
