WATCH: Pelicans crash Pepperdine graduation ceremony
MALIBU, Calif. (KTVU) - A couple of curious pelicans made Pepperdine University's graduation a ceremony to remember.
The birds dive bombed the crowd until they were shooed away. One of the pelicans even attempted to bite as it was being ushered out of the crowd.
Grant Dillion works for the marketing department at Pepperdine University and captured video of the incident. He wrote on his Facebook page, "When your university is located next to the Pacific Ocean, at some point pelicans are bound to crash your graduation."
One of the pelicans appeared to stick around as the ceremony continued with names of graduates read.
