Zilker Park Great Lawn closed for 2019 Austin City Limits Music Festival

The Austin Parks and Recreation Department has announced the closure schedule for the 2019 Austin City Limits Music Festival.

The northern portion of Zilker Metropolitan Park, known as the Great Lawn, will be closed until October 30.

The Great Lawn will be closed for festival set up, the two event weekends, a week to remove the staging, and at least one week for the Parks and Recreation Department's post-event maintenance, dependent on weather conditions.

The park will be accessible between event weekends.

The Austin Nature & Science Center will be closed to the public, except for Nature’s Way Preschool, through October 14 and the Barton Springs Beverly Sheffield Education Center and Splash Exhibit will be closed from October 4 through October 14.

Maintenance and repairs will be completed on both facilities.

Vic Mathias and Auditorium Shores east and middle lawns and off-leash area will be open for public use during the festival period, as well as Butler Park.

There will also be lane and road closures during both ACL weekends.
